The Kourier started production in December 2002 and was the brainchild of Stephen who, at the age of 15, was the driving force behind getting it off the ground.

The first edition was called ‘The Kempshott Magazine’ and the community were asked to come up with a name. The list of the suggestions received was published and the community were asked to nominate their preferred name. Our regular poet, Stan Bennett’s suggestion won the popular vote and the Kempshott Kourier came to fruition.
